About Us

Q. Do you accept my insurance plan?

A. Dr Rezvani is a participating provider for a number of insurance plans. We are happy to file your claims for you. As a participating provider, you are also entitled for “in-network” discounts of your oral surgery fees.

Q. Do you accept referrals?

A. Most of our patients are referred to us from their primary dentist or insurance plan. Many patients are referred to us from previous patients and their families. The personal referrals are some of the best to receive, because it means that we have achieved our goal of providing exceptional treatment and service to the patient who referred their friend or family member. Thank you for your referrals.

Q. What are your payment options?

A. We offer a variety of payment options in order to help accommodate our patients. Payment for the patient’s estimated portion is due at the time of service. We accept cash, and major credit cards. In order to make financial arrangements simple and easy for our patients, we offer Care Credit, an instant-approval, interest free payment plan that you can apply for online or in the office.

Q. What do I do if I have an emergency after office hours?

A. Our patients always have direct access to Dr Rezvani in the event of an emergency. Please call the office at 214-383-3883. After business hours, you will be given the option to be connected with Dr. Rezvani. He always has his phone and will either answer your call immediately, or call you back within a reasonable time frame. Of course, if you are having any type of life threatening emergency, you should always call 911 immediately.

Q. Will I be charged if I cancel my appointment?

A. Surgery appointments that are cancelled without 24 hours notice are subject to a $75 charge. Any appointment that is cancelled with 24 hours notice or more is not subject to a charge of any kind.

Q. How does Dr Rezvani keep up to date with new information, technologies and advancements in oral surgery?

A. Dr Rezvani is a member of numerous professional organizations and study clubs. Oral surgeons must participate in quite a lot of continuing education on an annual basis in order to remain active. Dr Rezvani loves to learn, and participates in over 3 times the required amount of continuing education each year. In addition, he researches on his own and keeps up to date with the latest news about his specialty through professional journals and meetings.

Q. What does your practice do in order to ensure patient safety?

A. Dr Rezvani is very cautious when it comes to patient safety. The office team keeps all instruments sterilized and sealed until used. Treatment rooms and equipment are kept clean and disinfected between patients. Our team is highly trained in sterilization and aseptic technique. Patients undergoing treatment and anesthesia are carefully monitored, just as they would be in a hospital setting, during treatment. Medications are given in a manner that provides the desired results without over-medicating. The team is trained in and practices implementation of protocol for in-office emergencies.

Q. I’m really nervous about visiting the dentist for even a cleaning… the thought of actually having surgery scares me. What can I do?

A. Feeling nervous and fearful is a normal part of dealing with the unknown. Our patients are treated with kindness and respect. We offer options for anesthesia which make the experience calm and relaxing. Our patients may choose local anesthesia combined with nitrous oxide sedation or they may choose to be completely sedated using intravenous sedation. Either way, we are confident that you will have pleasant, painless experience.
