A. Dr Rezvani is a member of numerous professional organizations and study clubs. Oral surgeons must participate in quite a lot of continuing education on an annual basis in order to remain active. Q. What does your practice do in order to ensure patient safety?
A. Dr Rezvani is very cautious when it comes to patient safety. The office team keeps all instruments sterilized and sealed until used. Treatment rooms and equipment are kept clean and disinfected between patients. Our team is highly trained in sterilization and aseptic technique. Patients undergoing treatment and anesthesia are carefully monitored, just as they would be in a hospital setting, during treatment. Medications are given in a manner that provides the desired results without over-medicating. The team is trained in and practices implementation of protocol for in-office emergencies.
Q. I’m really nervous about visiting the dentist for even a cleaning… the thought of actually having surgery scares me. What can I do?
A. Feeling nervous and fearful is a normal part of dealing with the unknown. Our patients are treated with kindness and respect. We offer options for anesthesia which make the experience calm and relaxing. Our patients may choose local anesthesia combined with nitrous oxide sedation or they may choose to be completely sedated using intravenous sedation. Either way, we are confident that you will have pleasant, painless experience.
